Lets get personal.

This blog post will be a little different then the previous ones, as I open myself up and get more personal with you all! Tonight I had one of the closest things to a date that I have had in a while !

* insert my best friends jumping up and down screaming *

To be honest I was a little nervous, especially considering I have been looking up the dating scene the past few weeks. But this was a high school friend who I have been recently catching up with, so I didn’t really think of it as a DATE.

Spoiler Alert - there was no intimacy but a future one-on-one session will be seen soon.

We decided to go down to a waterfront pizza place, which actually sounds a little fancy but was totally casual. We were able to sit outside, enjoy the beautiful weather, listen to some good acoustic music and just chat.

We talked about our last semester of college, where people from our high school are now, and what the heck we are planning to do now that we are suppose to be working adults.

The dinner was nice, even though I wasn’t particularly happy with my food. It wasn’t really until we went mini golfing after that I really thought it was a date.

I've been on Tinder and social media and have seen how guys try to pick girls up at the bar - and trust me none of it seems to be classy. And that is exactly why I realize we were on a date - the two of us just getting to further understand each other without outside sources or screens to persuade us.

While we were busy being opponents playing mini golf took the dinner to a new level. We were able to just let loose and have fun. It wasn't like the movies where we couldn't interact with each other - we were able to talk and play and honestly feel care free.

To all my single followers, there is not rush to finding happiness. Be young at heart no matter your age, because it will only help bring out the true person in you!
